Providence Academy 5th-8th Grade Ultimate Frisbee Club:

Description: a competitive club team competing in the Minnesota Ultimate Middle School League. Ultimate is a field sport played on a football-style field with end zones. Teams compete to catch the disc in the end zone to score a point. Minnesota is home to the largest youth league in the country and our team will have a coach, jerseys and will play against area middle schools. The season will culminate in a tournament.
When: Practices will occur outdoors after school on PA fields in the spring. 5th grade players will be met at the Statue of Mary by the coach and walked to the field. The schedule for practices is TBD but should occur at the end of March through April and May. Games are on SUNDAYS at 1pm (ending on or before 4pm). Players will play 2 games a day. The dates are 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12. The State tournament is 5/18-5/19
Who: 5th through 8th grade boys and girls (the league is a co-ed league in middle school)
Costs: PA will charge $20 fee for a custom disc when you sign up here. There is a separate registration parents must fill out through the league (more information on how to do this will be given to you by the coach). The league will charge a $20 membership fee and a $120 league fee (scholarships are available via the league website).
